It is time for declaration in France again and here you have some information to help you with it:

Dates to remember

Sending the paper return to taxpayers is scheduled Tuesday, April 20 to Tuesday, May 5.  The deadline of submission of the paper return is set for Monday, May 31 at midnight.

All taxpayers who choose to declare their income on http://www.impots.gouv.fr benefit from additional time, depending on their place of residence (Department):

  • Thursday, June 10 at midnight for the departments numbered 1-19,
  • Thursday, June 17 at midnight for the departments numbered 20-49,
  • Thursday, June 24 at midnight for the departments numbered 50-974.

Non-residents must purchase their tax returns, paper or online, before Wednesday, June 30 at midnight to taxpayers living in Europe, countries along the Mediterranean, North America and Africa and prior to Thursday, July 15 at midnight for those other countries of the world.

The Department of Budget, Public Accounts and the state reform also proposes to calculate your taxes online, through a simulator, the amount of income taxes payable in 2010 can be calculated easily.
